Position Summary

The Programs and Partnerships Manager coordinates the implementation of consulting assignments and manages relationships with project partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of consulting projects.
  • Track project milestones, timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal project teams, consultants, and technical experts to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.

Partnership Development

  • Support partnership development and collaboration initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationship with clients, partners, and consultants.
  • Facilitate coordination and information sharing via reporting among project stakeholders.

Project Development

  • Assist in identifying relevant opportunities and consulting assignments aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.
  • Support the preparation of project proposals and concept notes.

Reporting and Knowledge Management

  • Assist in preparing progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Document project lessons learned and best practices to support knowledge sharing and organizational learning.

 Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in development studies, economics, business administration, agribusiness, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience working with international development and consulting sector.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and working independently.
  • Experience working directly with key stakeholders to manage and grow a relationship and/or partnership.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Line management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong programme management and problem-solving skills, in addition to superb organisational skills to manage a varied workload.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude to get things done.
