Role Overview Summary
The panel will represent youth and amplify their voices throughout the implementation and evaluation period of the programme. In addition, it will give young people in all their diversities the opportunity to take a leadership role in decision making and advise the Ethiopia Country Coordinating Group (CCG) on Meaningful Youth Engagement among other programmatic decisions and directions.

Job Requirements
Competencies and Behavior
- Passionate about youth, youth engagement and their development
- Commitment to youth leadership in SRHR and to amplify/advocate for the SRHR issues of minoritized young people
- Strong commitment to inclusion and diversity and having a lived experience of a compounded vulnerabilities leading to exclusion and/or discrimination is a strong advantage
- Willingness to collaborate, a team worker, and respectful of different cultures
- Keen to development and learning to benefit self & marginalized youth groups
- Commitment to learn and promote intersectionality, and the values, principles and focus areas of the programme
- Commitment to apply and promote learned intersectional, youth-led approaches in SRHR policy & practices, and cascade approaches within institutions, networks and collaborations and movements.
- Ability to mobilize and influence other youth positively (a role model)
- Existing affiliation with ‘Collaborating partner’ CSOs is required
- Good communication skills, and networking skills, and showing competency around public speaking (in any language) is a plus
- Experience of engaging in youth movements, campaigns and networks targeting policy influencing is a strong advantage
- Good track record or competency of consolidating youth voice and representing them in various decision-making forums (at community and/or institutional levels) is a plus
- Experience in SRHR space (both policy & practice) is a plus
- Knowledge and policy development experience of current initiatives relating to SRHR issues of young people, social inclusion and Vulnerable/Marginalized Youth is a plus.
- Availability and willingness to dedicate their time and actively engage in meetings, capacity building processes, and take leadership roles in implementation as indicated above, to become integral part of the Make Way Programme – for a period of at least 1 year (for an estimated time of 20 hours a month)
