About the Organization
Young Women Christian Association in Ethiopia is an affiliate member of World YWCA; an international voluntary membership movement that connects women leading social and economic change in over 25 countries/ YWCA in Ethiopia was initially founded in 1962 and reestablished in 2000 then re-registered as Ethiopian resident charity following proclamation 621/2009 and again re-registered with revised CSO 1113/2019 proclamation under FDRE CSO agency.
Introduction 
 Currently YWCA Ethiopia is looking for competent consulting firm that will conduct rapid baseline assessment on accessibility of affordable, acceptable, and high quality (AAAQ) SRH and SGBV service by marginalized youth.
Objective
The main objective of the assessment is to evaluate the accessibility of affordable, acceptable and high quality service on sexual reproductive health and sexual gender based violence by marginalized youth in target woredas. And to use the generated evidence to advocate and hold accountable service providers and doing further intervention based on the generated evidence and findings.
Scope of the Work
The scope of the work includes
3:1. Conducting assessment:
  • Collect and analyze the necessary raw data to produces the required report that reveals accessibility of SRH and SGBV service by marginalized youth in the targeted woredas. The assessment points must include but not limited to 1.Background and  Socioeconomic Characteristics 2. AAAQ of SRH and SGBV service, 3. SRH attitude and beliefs 4.Gender Attitudes and Beliefs 5.Sexual Gender based Violence
  • Analyzing the raw data
  • Produces report and
  • Finally validate the result and out come with stakeholders.

  • Develop data collection tool
  • Collecting qualitative and quantitative data for the assessment
  • Analyzing the raw data
  • Produce and submit complete assessment report
  • Validate the result finding and outcome with stakeholders
Responsibilities of YWCA-Ethiopia
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance to the consulting firm
  • Provide timely feedback on the work of the consultant
  • Process payment in a timely manner
Note:– The applicant firm must be a legally registered consulting firm (License, TOT or Vat Registered firm).

Job Requirements

Job Assignment Requirement
  • The Consulting firm interested in this assignment is required to have the following qualifications  in the firm’s team.
Expertise And Academic Qualifications
  • Researchers must have at least master’s degree in Health science, gender and development  studies, human right, Law, international development or public policy and related field.
  • A specialization in health science is mandatory.
Experience
  • At least five years professional experience in research conducting on SRH, and SGBV service delivery works
  • The lead consultant should have relevant qualifications, sufficient experience and skills in conducting research works in the areas of SRH and GBV, impacts and gender responsiveness, and so on. Previous experience in SRGBV assessment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with CSO’s, INGO’s, government partners and other stakeholders in prevention of GBV, SRGBV and protection mechanisms
  • Evidence of having undertaken similar assignments;
  • Experience in training, working with low level of community members.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to work with in due date
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills in interacting with community.
  • Evidence of having undertaken similar assignments;
  • Excellent data analysis and report writing skills
