Background: The Network of Ethiopian Women’s Associations (NEWA) is a non-partisan, non-governmental network organization established in 2003, and currently NEWA has 50 member local organizations and associations seeking to create a stronger advocacy voice for girls and women’s advancement. NEWA has a twofold goal: synchronizing the individual activities of women’s associations into an integrated collective effort and synergy to realize their common aspirations for gender equality; and launching a vigorous public campaign of promotion, advocacy, and lobbying for empowering and redressing the needs, asks of the girls and young women (GYW), and the creation of space for this underprivileged section of society, and women’s rights, NEWA wants to achieve among others.
NEWA With the support from the Malala Fund, NEWA is implementing a project entitled “Education Champion Network’ to enhance the voices of girls. The primary aim of this initiative is to ensure that girls’ perspectives are acknowledged, to improve educational policy actions and implementations, to address emerging girls’ education needs and during and post-conflict contexts in Ethiopia. A range of initiatives are being introduced to effect change within the girls’ education system, ensuring that they can successfully complete their high school education without facing obstacles. This approach of the project is to fulfill the goal of ensuring access to education for girls, advancing gender equality, empowering their collective agency, and bringing girls’ issues to the forefront of public attention. As part of these commitment, to enhance the advocacy efforts of Education Champion Network in different part of the country, NEWA has planned to
produce and broadcast radio discussion on girls’ manifesto with girls’ representative and policy makers. To present their issues on the general public and meet with policy makers and development actors who works girls education and girls empowerment. Therefore, NEWA would like to hire production firm who produce and broadcast radio discussion on the Girls Manifesto. For more detailed information look at the TOR.

Demonstrated understanding of local cultural contexts, ensuring that the discussions are respectful, relevant, and resonate with the community’s values and beliefs.
Expertise in promoting radio programs to ensure broad awareness and engagement with the target audience.
All applicants are required to submit their expression of interest (EOI), in hard copies or soft copies of both financial and technical proposals and relevant documents including renewed certificates and sample previous related work within Ten [10] days in person at the following address:
Duly completed bids must be in a sealed envelope addressed to NEWA marked by “Bidders Name, Address (phone & email), Legal Stamps, and Signatures.” Interested Bidders should submit their technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes to the address mentioned below.
Interested production firms collect the full bid document from NEWA with the address shown below by presenting a renewed tax clearance certificate during office hours, Monday to Friday from 15- 25 April, 2025.
