Floresta Ethiopia (FE) is one of Plant with purpose(PWP) global partners, working in one of the populous region in Ethiopia, Amhara National Regional State (ANRS). Aligned with the documented Ethiopian government priorities and green legacy initiative of the country, FE has been working on environmental restoration interventions focusing on nursery establishment & management, tree planting, soil & water conservation activities with involvement of local community and partner institutions. Programmatically, it has three thematic components: Environmental restorations, Partnership & Community Transformation and Economic Empowerment.

FLORESTAETHIOPIA (FE) is based in Bahir Dar (Head office) and Andabet (Program Office). Currently, Floresta Ethiopia (FE) is looking for consulting firm that are required to revise organizational strategic manuals (Mainly HR & Finance in addition some revision on Admin. manual)so as to improve organizational system strengthening and program quality as well.

The manual revision is expected to offer a structured, standardized, and efficient ways of dealing with routine and strategic issues of the organization with which to manage programmes based on results and can bring about better results for our beneficiaries by:

• Reducing time spent on inefficient and unaligned processes, tools, and templates
• Increasing transparency and accountability to internal and external stakeholders

Objectives of the Consultancy

An overall objective of this consultancy service is to revise organizational strategic manuals & templates for improved organizational system strengthening and program quality at Floresta Ethiopia (FE).

Requirement Qualifications

• Academic Qualification and Relevance: Advanced university degree in MBA or related organizational financial, admin and HR management and organizational capacity development disciplines.

Experience:

• • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field especially in capacity building and system strengthening especially related to; HR/ Operational and Financial matters of organizations.
  • Proven Experience in conducting HR/ Operational and Financial manual preparations and or revisions in NGOs, GOs and Private Enterprises/ Businesses

Language Requirements:

• • Excellent command of Amharic and English a must
  • Advanced analytical writing and presentation skills in English Language.

Duration of the Consultancy: The maximum duration to accomplish this assignment is 30 days. The assignment is to be started on next day after agreement is signed between Floresta Ethiopia and selected winning consultant.
