TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROCUREMENT OF CHICKEN (Bovans >4 months old chicken)

HEKS/EPER started supporting projects in Ethiopia in 1972 and is currently a key development and humanitarian partner for the Ethiopian government across four regions (Oromia, Amhara, Somali and South Ethiopia). HEKS/EPER works with vulnerable communities including pastoralists, internally displaced persons and female-headed households, providing support in water, hygiene and sanitation, food security, protection, shelter, natural resource management, livelihood recovery, agroecology, market system development and institutional engagement.

Pursuant to Proclamation 1113/2011 to provide for the Registration and Regulation of Charities and Societies, Swiss Church Aid (HEKS/EPER) in Ethiopia was re-registered by Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Authority for Civil Society Organizations as a Foreign Charity on October 22, 2019, for indefinite period.

Swiss Church Aid (HEKS/EPER) would like to invite interested potential bidders for the supply of Bovan chicken .

REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIA:

Swiss Church Aid (HEKS/EPER) hereby invites potential Bidders to submit their Price offer. Interested suppliers should submit their profile that includes at least legal documentation (Renewed trade license, taxpayer registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, renewed tax clearance from the tax office, and other supportive documents. Details of the required criteria are listed below.

1. The ability to deliver the required amount and quality in fifteen days after the contract is signed.
2. The financial and technical proposals (both original and copies) submitted by bidders must be signed by authorized personnel.
3. Bidders who submit an invalid tax clearance certificate will be automatically disqualified.
4. A relevant trade license for poultry trade is required.
5. Bidders must submit a valid and recent hatchery certificate (Flock Sheets).
6. Bidders must submit a valid and recent Veterinary Health Certificate issued by the relevant government office.
7. All pages of the bid document must have an official seal and the bidder’s address.
8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 1% of the total bid price, issued as a certified payment order (C.P.O.) from the bank.
9. All documents, certificates, and handwriting must be neat, visible, readable, and validated.

Bid Period/Floating Time: Bids will be accepted from December 10 to 23, 2025.

Bid Closing Date and Time: Bids must be submitted via email before 05:00 PM.

Bid Opening Date and Time: The bids will be opened without the presence of bidders or their official delegates on December 23, 2025.

HEKS/EPER reserves the right to accept or reject the bid entirely or partially.
