Talent Acquisition Manager (Deadline: 31 Oct 2022)

Location: Flexible, UK

Company: Plan International

Job Description

The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 85 years, and are now active in more than 75 countries.

The Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Manager will primarily focus on managing the recruitment of a variety of roles to support Plan International’s Enterprise Resource Planning and Project Management systems. You will work closely with the programme team working on these system projects to understand the workforce needs, the timing of these needs and the duration of roles. The person will support planning for the recruitment process and the best strategies to attract the right people to the various roles, including internal secondments.

You will also support Plan International’s overall Talent Acquisition strategy and operate as an active member of the Talent Acquisition team sharing ideas and responsibilities as demands in talent acquisition dictate and driving processes. This may include the recruitment process for a selection of our Country Office roles or other Global Hub roles predominantly within Finance, IT and Project Management as required. As part of this you will help to improve the process around finalising engagement and secondment agreements with employing entities of Global Hub roles outside of the UK and the ongoing improvements and initiatives across our global recruitment strategy.

Our employer value proposition is vital to us and you will help to build upon the work already done in this area externally on Linkedin and other platforms.
