SFP aims to boost productivity by 15–30%, improve profitability by 10–15%, cut greenhouse gas emissions by 15%, and optimize water and fertilizer efficiency by 20%.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Sustainable Farming Science Consultant to synthesize research learnings on agronomic bio-fortification and structure a high-impact manuscript for a peer-reviewed journal.
In this role, you will analyze cross-crop insights (wheat, rice, maize, and beans) gathered by the agronomic bio-fortification community of practice and translate them into a coherent scientific publication.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

Synthesize Learnings: Review and refine initial drafts and data from the agronomic bio-fortification community of practice.

Integrate Cross-Crop Insights: Consolidate key scientific insights from crop-specific syntheses across wheat, rice, maize, and beans.

Manuscript Development: Structure, write, and submit a high-quality agronomic bio-fortification perspectives manuscript to a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required Expertise:

Deep technical expertise in agronomic bio-fortification, crop nutrition, micronutrient management, and related agronomic practices.

Direct involvement in the community of practice, specifically in analyzing and drafting crop-specific manuscripts for wheat, rice, maize, and beans.

Strong capacity to synthesize complex scientific evidence into clear, actionable perspectives.
Education & Skills:

Education: Advanced university degree (PhD strongly preferred) in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Bio-Fortification, or a closely related field.

Publications: Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals in relevant fields.

Communication: Exceptional written English skills with strong attention to scientific accuracy, methodology, and detail.
