Supply of Professional Camera, Audio, Lighting and Related Multimedia Equipment and Mandatory Accessories

Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) invites sealed bids from eligible, reputable, and qualified suppliers/vendors for the supply, delivery, and after-sales support of professional camera, audio, lighting, and related multimedia equipment and mandatory accessories, (Technical Specifications) of this Tender Document as detailed in the link posted on ECDD website: https://ecdd-ethiopia.org/wp-content/uploads/Tender-and-BoQ-for-Professional-Multimedia-Equipment.pdf .

Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions set out in Section 2 (Instructions to Bidders) on or before the submission deadline stated on the cover page. Late submissions will not be considered.

2. Instructions to Bidders

2.1. Eligibility of Bidders

●      The bidder must be a legally registered entity authorized to supply the goods specified in this tender.

●      The bidder shall possess and submit a valid business license and a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) certificate in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of Ethiopia.

●      The bidder must demonstrate prior experience supplying similar equipment, supported by references or evidence of past contracts, where available.

●      The bidder must not be under any form of debarment, suspension, or legal restriction from participating in public or institutional procurement.

2.2. Language and Currency of Bid

The bid, and all correspondence and documents related to the bid, shall be written in English. Prices shall be quoted in Ethiopian Birr, inclusive of all applicable taxes, duties, and delivery costs to the specified delivery location, unless otherwise stated.

2.6. Bid Validity

Bids shall remain valid for a period of five days from the submission deadline.

2.7. Format and Signing of Bid

●      The bid shall be typed or written in indelible ink and signed by a person duly authorized to bind the bidder to the contract.

●      Any interlineations, erasures, or overwriting shall be valid only if initialed by the person(s) signing the bid.

●      The bid shall be submitted in one original and two copies, clearly marked “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” respectively.

2.8. Sealing and Submission of Bids

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope/package addressed to located Beklobet, Lanchia Road, Sierra Leone Street, Addis Ababa, in front of the Ministry of Revenues Middle Tax Payrs Office, and clearly marked with the tender reference number and the words “DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 9 August 2026”. Bids shall be submitted by hand.

2.9. Deadline and Late Bids

Bids received after the submission deadline shall be rejected and returned unopened to the bidder.

2.10. Opening of Bids

Bids will be opened at ECDD headquarter 10 August 2026, in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

2.11. Clarification and Correction of Bids

ECDD may, during the evaluation of bids, request clarification from a bidder regarding its bid. No change in price or substance of the bid shall be sought, offered, or permitted, except to correct arithmetic errors identified during evaluation.

2.12. Confidentiality

Information relating to the examination, evaluation, and comparison of bids shall not be disclosed to bidders or any other party not officially involved in the process until the outcome of the tender is announced.

6.   Professional Closed-Back Headphones

7.   Professional Video Tripod (Fluid Head)

8.   Professional Speedlight Flash (with acceptable alternative specification)

9.   Camera Backpack

10.       Camera Shoulder Bag

Bidders may quote for one or more-line items.
