Supply Chain Division Manager

• Plans, organizes and administers procurement, store management and distributions activities of the company;
• Directs that procurement, store management and distributions activities are undertaken as per approved policies and procedures of the company;
• Develops supply chain strategies and designs procurement, store management and distributions operating systems and procedures;
• Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials;
• Undertakes market investigations and develops short list of suppliers of inputs, materials and services required by the company;
• Reviews or updates supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws;
• Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies;
• Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments;
• Collaborates with other organs of the company on matters regarding procurement, store management and distribution sand other related activities;
• Analyzes inventories to improve inventory turnovers, reduce waste, and optimize customer service, maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize service;
• Examines the possibility of reusing or recycling materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products;
• Ensures availability of material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, distribution and storage of materials;
• Identifies and selects biodegradable, non-toxic, or other environmentally friendly materials for service delivery;
• Undertakes performance evaluation of the supply chain staff;
• Prepares and submits reports periodically and as required on supply chain a of the company; and
• Undertakes related functions as required.
