Job Description

Duties

Under direct supervision of Regional Environmental Officer, the incumbent provides support to the Regional Environment Office (REO) including developing initiatives and strategies, reporting, editing, researching, and serving in an acting capacity during absence of primary officer. The incumbent holds primary responsibility for bilateral environmental issues, coordinating closely with Political-Economic colleagues on reporting and contact development, and performs administrative support activities as necessary.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Five years of progressively responsible experience in planning or administering programs or projects is required.

EDUCATION: 2 years of college studies is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: English – Proficiency in speaking/reading/writing is required (This may be tested.)

OTHER: MS Suite (good working knowledge) is required (This may be tested.)
