YWCA Ethiopia Seeks Passionate Social Worker for SPA II Project in Elfeta
YWCA Ethiopia is currently recruiting a dedicated and skilled Social Worker to join their team in Elfeta, supporting the SPA II Project. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital work within the community and make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for social justice with a strong understanding of community-based support programs. They will be responsible for providing direct services to beneficiaries, engaging with families and community stakeholders, and ensuring accurate project documentation.

Key Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing direct social work services to individuals and families within the community.
- Conducting needs assessments and developing individualized support plans.
- Facilitating group sessions and community outreach activities.
- Collaborating with other project staff and partner organizations.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of all activities and outcomes.
- Contributing to project reporting and monitoring.

About You
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field.
- Fluency in Afan Oromo, English and Amharic (spoken and written) is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise reports.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in social work, community development, or a related field.
