Key Responsibilities

Security & Safety

• Guard and protect the institution’s compound, building, property, and staff safety.
• Screen, register, and monitor incoming and outgoing visitors, vehicles, and materials.
• Report any suspicious activities or security threats immediately to the appropriate supervisor.

Gardening & Compound Maintenance

• Care for, enhance, and regularly water the facility’s plants, flowers, and lawn.
• Clear weeds from the compound, and prune/shape trees and bushes.
• Maintain a consistently clean, attractive, and welcoming environment throughout the premises.

Education:

• Completion of Grade 8, 10, or 12 (or basic literacy – ability to read and write).

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in security guarding, gardening, or a dual role.

Guarantor:

• Ability to provide a legal and sufficient guarantor.

Special Skills & Attributes:

• • Willingness and capability to perform both security and gardening duties effectively.
  • Military, police, or formal security training is highly preferred.
  • Honest, hardworking, and possessing high ethical standards.
  • Clean criminal record (must present a valid police clearance certificate).
