The Position: The Security Associate post is located in UNFPA Sub-office in Mikelle, Tigray and reports to the Head of Field Office on daily functions. The Security Associate maintain technical line of reporting with the Country Security Specialist based in Addis Ababa, in discharge of his/her safety and security responsibilities. Job Purpose Under the direct supervision of the Head of Sub-office Mikelle, and technical guidance of the Security Specialist Addis Ababa, the Local Security Associate assists the Field and CO Management team in the implementation of security operations and all matters relating to the management of safety and security for UNFPA personnel based in northern regions of Tigray, Afar and Amhara of Ethiopia to assist UNFPA humanitarian operations.
