Consulting support: ‘EU Sales & Marketing Hub for selected companies`
We are looking for qualified and motivated consultant to support and link selected textile and garment companies in Europe to potential buyers for their products / services and empower them to build up a sustainable business relation and market position.
Tasks
- The specific activities of this assignment will include but are not limited to the following:
- Identify potential buyers for products/ services suitable to do business with selected companies. Analysis of existing and potential buyers, desk research, direct talks to potential buyers.
- Link companies to buyers for products / services: Build-up business connections to potential buyers. Direct marketing and sales efforts, product / service presentations, trade fairs, sales tours, and events (Road Show) in the EU, incoming buyer missions to ET, online marketing, etc.
- Assist the buildup of a sustainable business relation: Support business buildup with buyers. Strong communication, preparation product and service samples, collecting production samples from buyers, follow of sample and offer process, support in price and terms of business negotiations.
- Advise companies on marketing and product development according to market request. Consult companies on marketing and product development for business buildup. Consulting session and advisory support, assist in preparation product and service samples, advice in price and terms of business negotiations.
- Develop documents and handouts, which can be used for selected and further companies. Produce a documents and handouts to be used by further companies.
Deliverables
- Written analysis of existing and potential buyers, desk research, direct talks to potential buyers (# of number of suitable potential buyers have been identified)
- Report of activities and individual list of business links for each company (# of number business links activities to suitable potential buyers have been realized)
- Report of individual list of business supports for each company (# of number business buildup support activities have been realized)
- Report of individual list of consulting sessions for each company (# of number consulting sessions have been realized)
- Production of the documents and handouts have been realized and delivered
Job Requirements
Profile of Consultants and Technical Requirements
The bidding consultant should have the as minimum requirements but not only the following background and expertise:
- Minimum 15 years of marketing and sales experience in the garment and textile sector within the EU
- Excellent knowledge of garment and textile related production process and supply chain, technical requirements, certificates, current product development, etc.
- Consulting and working experience in developing countries, priority is given to experts with strong experience in east and central Africa
- Proven strong EU sale experience for garments and textile production services with in-depth market links and sales network
- Proven experience in organizing promotion and sales events as: Trade fairs/ sales Road Shows/ B2B events/ Conference/ Incoming buyer missions, online marketing, etc.
- Proven strong communication and presenting skills in direct sales, motivation of partner to join project, negotiations, etc.
- Excellent command of English, German, and minimum one other EU language with garment and textile related businesses / economies f.e. Portugal, Italy, etc.
