Position: Risk and Compliance Officer – (7 Positions)
Duty Station: Tach Gayint, Simada, Sede Muja, Abergele, Sahla, Meketwa, East Belesa
Duration of Contract: One-year contract, Renewable (with 60 working days probation period)
Salary: As per the salary scale of the organization
Closing date: July 21, 2023
Job Summary
The Risk and Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient monitoring of the delivery, distribution, documentation and field level reporting associated with JEOP and check whether the operation is in compliance with USAID’s Reg 11, partners’ Minimum Commodity Management Standard and FH’s standard. The incumbent is expected to work in collaboration with JEOP officers, store keepers, distributors and data clerks to ensure implementation of the Community Based Targeting and Distribution within the respective FDPs. All these must be done while meeting the FH and USAID/FFP commodity management standards.

Education and Experience
- Completion of 1st Degree in Social, Natural Science, Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in a relevant position Preferably in INGO Setting
- Proven supervisory experience and ability to manage teams
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience in food monitoring
- Knowledge of USAID/Title II rules and regulations
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and attention to details
- High degree of initiative, integrity and accountability
- Skill in report writing
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literate in Microsoft programs
Distinguishing Competencies
⮚ Strong computer skill and knowledge in the area of MS word, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and email communication.
⮚ High level of initiative taking.
Language
⮚ Knowledge of the local language of the operational area and, proficiency in the English language required;
