About the Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. For over 85 years, we have rallied determined optimists to transform the lives of all children in more than 80 countries.

Supply Chain is the backbone of our country operations. We aim to deliver maximum positive impact on the lives of girls and young people while ensuring the needs of our funders and donors are met seamlessly.

The Opportunity

As the Regional Supply Chain Strengthening Coordinator, you will drive continuous improvement across our Country Office (CO) Supply Chain functions. Working closely with the Regional Supply Chain Specialist (RSCS), you will evaluate structure, enhance functional capabilities, and build an agile supply chain network.

This role offers a dynamic mix of technical leadership, capacity building, and hands-on system support (SAP MM & Power BI), with the opportunity to deploy directly to Country Offices to establish high-standard supply chain frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Assessments: Conduct country office supply chain evaluations, identify operational gaps, support recruitment/restructuring, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Capacity Building & Knowledge Sharing: Coordinate regional Communities of Practice, facilitate strategic workshops, and champion supply chain best practices among regional and local leadership teams.

  • Compliance & Training: Ensure strict adherence to the Supply Chain Operations Manual. Identify training gaps and deliver high-impact virtual and in-person training on SAP MM and Power BI.

  • ERP & Systems Optimization: Serve as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP ERP and fleet management systems (e.g., TracPoint). Troubleshoot user issues, improve data quality, and foster data-driven decision-making.

  • Safeguarding & Inclusion: Uphold and enforce Plan International’s robust global policies for Safeguarding, Gender Equality, and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Exploitation, and Abuse (PSEA).

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Professional Memberships

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Professional Certification/Membership to a recognized supply chain body (e.g., CIPS Level 5, KISM, or equivalent).

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5 years of practical, hands-on experience in cross-functional supply chain management.

  • Significant experience working within humanitarian or development contexts (International NGOs preferred).

  • Deep understanding of procurement planning, sourcing, buying, and fleet management within an INGO framework.

  • Proven track record working with multicultural, multi-sector teams across at least two different countries.

  • Expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), fleet tracking software, and Power BI reporting.

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex supply chain concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven capability to scale guidelines, tools, and templates across large regions.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

How to Apply

If you have the legal right to work in any of the host countries listed above and want to use your supply chain expertise to make a lasting difference for children and girls worldwide, we want to hear from you.
