Job Description
Menschen für Menschen Foundation is a nongovernmental, nonreligious and nonpartisan humanitarian organization involved in Integrated Rural Development activities and Project Coordination Office (PCO) wishes to invite applicants with the following qualifications and experiences.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receives approved requisitions and collect pro-forma invoices.
- Purchases materials, supplies, equipment’s and services as per MfM purchasing policies and procedures.
- Submits all purchase items to the storekeeper through official documents of the Foundation.
- Collects and maintains current information regarding sources, prices, and specifications of goods and services.
- Maintains records of all purchase transactions.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS:
- Excellent vehicle driving skill
- Responsible, trustworthy and reliable.
- Keen observation abilities and alertness.
- Good organizational and communications skill.
Language:
- A good command of speaking & writing Amharic and English
Terms of Employment:
- Yearly renewable contract
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or above in Purchasing/Procurement & Supplies Management/ Management/Accounting or related field and 3rd Grade Driving License is compulsory.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in procurement activities and a minimum of 2 years driving experience is required.
