Major responsibilities
- Work to strengthen link b/n IWDGs, HEWs and Animal health assistances.
- Support IWDGs to identify, register and communicate HEWs about PM , new born and under one children.
- Support IWDGs to conduct suspected cases searching by conducting HHs to HHs visit, identified site ( by visiting cultural and traditional healing site)
- Strengthen CBDS and NBT activities documentation.
- Provide capacity building training to IWDGs on CBDS and NBT
- Work to strengthen cross border immunization at the entry points of selected KAs
- Closely work with FBOs, CBOs , schools to enhances CBDS and NBT activities by strengthen linkage as CBDS stakeholders.
- Provide support to strengthen health facility Routine Immunization, cold chain management, vaccination campaigns, and
- Work on to mobilize community members to share effort for productive execution of CBDS and NBT activities.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- BSc in Public Health, clinical Nursing and related field, CBDS and NBT, IIP and cold chain management trained,
Required Professional Experience
- Previous work experience at least 3 years in EPI, PHEM, Health education, curative and public health promotion, and infection prevention and control.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
- The position requires willingness to be based at woreda with frequent travel to visit Kebeles
