The Hunger Project – Ethiopia (THP-E) is implementing projects in rural areas of Ethiopia since 2004 and currently recruiting full time staff for the following positions:
The Project Officer is responsible for leading the project field staff and manage the implementation, monitoring and reporting of ‘Transformative Partnership: Strengthening Civil Society for community resilience building’ project which is implemented in Mareko Special Woreda & Meskan Woreda of East Gurage Zone. Along with other duties, the Project Officer will facilitate the engagement project implementing partners including community, government & CSOs in the project initiatives. The project office is accountable to THP-E Program Manger and will execute the following duties and others to be assigned by the Program Manager.
I. Planning
II. Partnership Building and Advocacy
III. Community Climate Resilience Building:
IV. Monitoring and Reporting
V. Finance & Material Inputs
Ensure transparency & accountability in all aspects of the project implementation
