Lakarmissionen LM-International Ethiopia is a Humanitarian and Development Organization that has been operating programs in the areas Inclusive Education, WASH, Resilience and Emergency Support.
Lakarmissionen LM-International Ethiopia would like to invite qualified Applicants for its project in Inclusive Education in the position of Project Coordinator.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Represents the project Office in communications with various stakeholders.
- Manages and coordinates the implementation of IE project in 5 towns (Adama, Assela, Mojo, Bishoftu, and Batu)
- Supervises project staff and volunteers that work for the project
- Develops project annual and quarter plans
- Develops project annual and quarter reports to donors and government
- Organizes trainings and consultative workshops
Reports to: Program Manager
Required No. One(1)
Duty Station: Adama with frequent field trip to project towns (Assela, Mojo, Batu and Bishoftu)
Terms of Employment: one year contract with possibility of extension based on performance.
Job Requirements
Education
- B.A, B.Ed./MA, M. Ed in Education, Special Need Education, Psychology, Project Management, or other related fields of studies
Work Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in education or special needs education related assignments. Experience in coordination of education or SNE projects in NGOs is highly desirable.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to work in team and independently
- Good leadership and management skills
- Good interpersonal communication in English
- Good report writing and planning ability
- Computer Application skills
- Knowledge of working language(Afan Oromo)
