Job Description
General Functions: The program coordinator is responsible for; Program Design, Program Monitoring, Reporting, Proposal Development, Capacity Building, Research, Documentation, Special Tasks, and Liaison, Support the management of YWCA in Ethiopia.
Expected Competencies:
- Excellent communications and report drafting skills
- Strong Leadership and Management skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Amharic
- Administrative abilities, communication skill, and experience in report writing • Strong analytical and planning skills
- Knowledge of major donors’ rules, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Sound knowledge of development program planning, project design, and monitoring and evaluation
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional background
- Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Strong background in using computers
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Job Requirements
Academic Qualification
- MA or Bachelor Degree in sociology, Project management, community development, or any other social science-related fields
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Program management an NGO setting.
