Job Description

An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Production Team Leader.

The position is structured to report to the Unit Manager– Addis Ababa Plant.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and supervise packaging line operations to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and packaging specifications.
Monitor line performance, efficiency, and downtime, and implement corrective actions.
Enforce safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards on the production floor.
Coordinate manpower allocation and shift planning.
Conduct routine performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
Ensure proper material utilization and minimize wastage.
Monitor equipment condition and coordinate with maintenance for timely support.
Prepare and submit daily production and performance reports.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Skills, Experience & Education

First Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
