Main Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision of the Procurement Manager, below-mentioned responsibilities are some essential areas to focus on;
- Task Commitments in the procurement system: Review all budget commitments related to Gates funding, assess their status at the Country Office and Field Offices, and remove any incorrect commitments from the system.
- Follow up on goods and service delivery status: Track the progress of goods, services, and works that were not completed, ensuring their completion accordingly.
- Follow up on payment status: Monitor pending payments that were not finalized before the close of the project’s fiscal year to ensure timely processing.
- Reporting: Analyse data and provide reports to the project team and Finance Manager on cancelled and actual commitments.

Expected Deliverables
- Task Commitments in the procurement system
- Based on the updated budget commitments in the system, identify: Real commitments, actual commitments, regional Offices commitments, and follow up on the status and take proper action
- Follow up on goods and service delivery status
- Closely follow up on the pending procurement requests not completed and provide necessary support.
- Follow up on payment status
- Closely follow up with Finance on the payment status of pending procurements
- Follow up on commitments at the FO
- Closely follow up on pending commitment status at the FO and provide the necessary support to release the commitment
- Data Analytics clean-up
- Clean up all the old pending PRs and LPOs on the dashboard
About You
Required Qualifications and Experience
- BA degree in purchasing and supplies management or business Administration, and related fields
- A minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience fro Degree holders and two (2) years relevant work experience for Diploma holders in procurement, purchasing and supplies management.
- Demonstrated skill in multitasking, meeting deadlines and working under tight schedules
- Ability to interact and deal with people patiently and politely
- Understanding on Procurement Rules and Regulations
- Excellent planning, coordinating, and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication skills;
- Very good computer skills;
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
