We are now hiring a dynamic and committed Deputy Principal to support the School Principal in delivering our mission and leading our academic team with excellence.

Position Details

• Job Title: Deputy Principal
• Location: Assosa, Ethiopia
• Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Reports To: School Principal
• Supervises: Assigned teaching and support staff

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Principal in overall school administration and daily operations
• Lead academic planning, including lesson supervision, assessment practices, and instructional improvement
• Manage student discipline, attendance, and well-being programs
• Coordinate extracurricular and student enrichment programs
• Act on behalf of the Principal when necessary
• Support professional development and coaching of teachers

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 6 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in an academic leadership role
• Strong understanding of modern teaching practices and school leadership
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Fluent in English; Amharic proficiency is an asset
• Confident with digital tools and school information systems
