About Us:

Fayyaa Integrated Development Organization (FIDO) is an Ethiopian indigenous, Non-Governmental Organization established in 2002 by a group of volunteers in the Jimma zone of Oromia Regional State. Initially founded to combat the HIV/AIDS pandemic, FIDO has expanded its focus to include prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT), care and support for orphan and vulnerable children (OVC), and various health projects such as malaria control and reproductive health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide clear, timely, and accurate information to patients regarding medications.
• Counsel patients on correct medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking pharmaceuticals.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in handling medicines.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of controlled substances.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy dispensing.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient care.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a clinical team.

Languages:

• Fluency in Afan Oromo and Amharic is required.
