The Opportunity
The P&C Operation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day P&C operational functions and their performance in accordance with PIE policies and procedures. S/he provide hands-on support. Guidance and advice to staff and managers in operationalizing P&C policies and procedures. S/he has a responsibility to follow-up issues around employee relation, grievance and disciplinary case, Work place safeguarding, employee safety, Coordinate department audit.
Under the supervision of Head of P and C, the incumbent is responsible in providing effective and efficient P&C service to the programmes, optimize the P&C functions. The job holder will be the focal person for programme Area P&C representatives and shall work in close collaboration with the Programme Area /Emergency Response Mangers when it comes to performance management and training and development need for the Area P&C representative.
S/he will also be expected to work in collaboration with colleagues within the department to operationalize the organization’s P&C initiatives, polices, practices run smoothly and contribute to a healthy work environment by ensuring the P&C polices, guideline, practices reach ground and understood and implemented by PIE Staff.
