About the Opportunity

This is a new position for Inkomoko, with the opportunity to play a critical role in the growth and sustainability by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to support our mission and goals. This role typically involves working closely with other members of the organization, as well as external stakeholders such as potential partners, donors, and other organizations in the community.

Responsibilities

Specifically, the positions responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Manage project timelines/deliverables, budgets and resources, and ensure that all project objectives are met to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, including a multi-year program with an anchor funder and key implementing partner.
  • Partner relationship cultivation and development: Identify, manage, and research potential and/or existing partners that align with the project goals and objectives while ensuring the partnership is mutually beneficial.
  • Communication with stakeholders:  Serve as an active representative  for Inkomoko in exploring partnerships with interested organizations, individuals, neighbors, companies, institutions, and others to coordinate our internal evaluation and responses to all outreach.
  • Monitor, Report and Evaluate:  Oversee performance of partnerships, and prepare regular reporting on partnership performance, progress, recommendations and issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the partnership agreements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in stakeholder and project management within the development or community based programming related to all aspects of programme cycle management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of M&E, beneficiary accountability and reporting
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to handle a variety of responsibilities simultaneously and to set priorities.
  • An excellent team player with good skills in team work and consultative approach to decision making.
  • Post graduate or Master degree in International relations, Social Sciences, Project management and development relevant fields preferred.
