About the Program:
Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) is a global program of the World Resources Institute (WRI) that helps early-stage climate startups in emerging markets become investment ready. P4G works through National Platforms (NPs), public-private coalitions within member countries to improve enabling environments for climate solutions. The program supports startups working on climate mitigation and adaptation with strong poverty reduction and gender equity outcomes in climate-smart agriculture, clean energy, and water resilience. P4G’s model combines grant funding, technical assistance, and strategic policy engagement to overcome market barriers and scale innovative business models. In Ethiopia, P4G collaborates closely with the NP, WRI staff, and other ecosystem actors to align startup support with national climate and development goals.
Reporting to Regional Investment Manager, Africa – P4G, you will serve as the primary liaison between the Ethiopia National Platform and the P4G Global Hub, coordinating the platform’s involvement in supporting climate partnerships and advancing enabling environment reforms. You will manage stakeholder engagement, oversee partnership activities in Ethiopia, and contribute to policy and strategy processes.
You will be supported by the P4G Africa regional team, which provides strategic guidance on partnerships, policy engagement, and program delivery. You will also work with the P4G Global Hub and WRI Ethiopia staff and leadership to ensure strong alignment with national priorities and institutional coordination. You will integrate equity into your work.
