Future Hopes Integrated Development organization/FHIDO/ is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit, secular, legally registered Ethiopian resident charity working to building self-reliant and self-sufficient generation in Ethiopia through comprehensive and sustainable development approach. FHIDO implementing different development programs to change the wellbeing of children and youths found in its operational areas and ensured the sustainable resilience to take part in the social, economic and political activities of their communities.

FHIDO is currently looking for competent, qualified and interested applicants for FHIDO, USAID Family-focused HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Program that will be implemented in partnership with Mekdim Ethiopia National Association (MENA) on the following position.

Position Summary

OVC and HIV Care and Treatment Manager would be responsible for the overall planning, implementation and evaluation of FHIDO Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Support Service. Besides, he/she is responsible for community mobilization and coordination of the OVC and HIV related support and its sustainability in close cooperation with the program director and other responsible staff from the organization. The post holder will ensure that programs are implemented as per agreements and the highest standard.

Number of position: one

Term of employment:  The terms of employment for the position is one-year contract with possible extension based on proven performance and availability of fund.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BSc/MSC in Nursing, Public Health or in related discipline

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years for MSC/ 6 years for BSc, NGO experience in community development work with strong exposure to USAID funded OVC and HIV project implementation.

Required Skill:

  • Excellent and proven project proposal writing and resource mobilization skill.
  • Excellent planning, implementation, coordination and M&E skill.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural team
  • Advanced report writing and presentation skills.
  • Advanced technical skills relevant to HIV/AIDS Program for PLHIV, KPP, OVC and Other Vulnerable groups.
  • Proven Coaching, Mentoring and leadership experience, particularly in Health and HIV/AIDS related projects.
  • Excellent basic computer skills and demonstrated experience in using software, particularly DHIS2.
