ISFM+ Soil Matters – Climate Change Cluster

Contract Duration: December 31, 2026

Duty station: Addis Ababa

The Integrated Soil Fertility Management Project (ISFM+) contributes to improving soil fertility, soil health and productivity in selected areas of Amhara, Oromia, , Sidama, South, Central and Tigray regions. It operates in 60 woredas (districts) and has a duration until June 2026. The project promotes the integrated use of locally adapted  ISFM technologies contributing to (a) increasing on-farm biomass production (b) reducing nutrient and biomass losses from the farming system and (c) improving the agronomic use efficiency of production inputs. The project aims at combining behavioral change communication strategies with farmer-acceptable and locally adapted soil fertility improvement technologies.

The office support staff will

• Oganize and maintain office furniture and materials and carry out catering and canteen services
• Carry out maintenance tasks or monitor implementation of maintenance work
• Distribute office materials and manage inventory levels
• Ensure that office space is kept clean and orderly
• Ensure that the  office kitchen is clean
• Water the potted flowers in the office and care for them
• Arrange and keep box files clean and ordered in store
• Support the Accounting Specialist by adjusting the settlement document of local contribution contracts prepared at project level
• Compile and provide documents , box files and other facilities to internal auditors at the time of internal audit .
• Run errands, provides messenger services
• Monitor and organize the purchase of day-to-day office materials
• Provide logistical services for workshops and training courses within and outside the office premises
• Provide support for small-scale administrative and organization tasks such as scanning, photocopying, and filing
• Notify the manager promptly when office materials need to be restocked, repair work needs to be carried out, or there are any other irregularities

• Perform other assignments as required
