ROLE PURPOSE:
The office attendant is accountable for keeping the sanitation, the cleanliness, hygiene of the office, and office equipment to the best satisfaction of the organization as well as prepares and serve tea and coffee for staffs as per the standard Save the children systems, policy, and procedure. |

Key area of accountability
As per the agreed flexible working schedule daily clean, and keep the sanitation, the cleanliness and hygiene of the office complex to the best satisfaction of the organization. Ensure the safety of all working equipment issued to him/her for sanitation and safety of the organization Check all the property in the compound and ensure that everything is in good shape Wash and iron office curtain and similar utilities Check all doors and windows, light and water, stoves and refrigerators with in the office compound to ensure that they are closed/or locked after being cleaned Report to the immediate supervisor cases of theft defect of light and doors and windows in the compound, leakage of water pipes and damage of fences Ensure effective and efficient use of all save the children resources in order to keep costs low and ensure the security of the staff Comply with all relevant Save the children policies and procedures with respect to child protection, health and safety, security, equal opportunity and other relevant policy |

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Completion of 12th grade or 10th grade with current education system Ø At least 2 years of relevant work experience and NGO experience is preferable Ø Good spoken of Amharic and English language Ø Good interpersonal skill Ø Commitment to and understanding of Save the children’s aim, values and principles |
