Position Description

RTI is seeking candidates for Office Attendant. The major purpose of the position is to maintain the cleanliness of the office facilities and prepare refreshments for staff.

What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

  • Provide daily office cleaning and maintenance of the office facilities. 
  • Track and ensure constant availability of kitchen and office supplies such as detergents, beverages, water etc. 
  • Prepare coffee, tea, and other refreshments. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. 
  • Support special events and external visitors through office set-up and provision of refreshments. 
  • Ensure that the working desks and seats for all staff are clean and well maintained. 
  • Ensure garbage is emptied and garbage bins are kept clean. 
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Office Manager or other staff. 

What You’ll Need

  • 6 months work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience working in a similar capacity for RTI in Ethiopia.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Prior experience in office cleaning and maintenance for USAID projects preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a service-oriented attitude.
  • Should have professional demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
