The Opportunity (Nutrition Officer)
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
The position holder is responsible for managing and overseeing overall nutrition activities in the assigned woreda including planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of nutrition activities. s/he is expected to lead and ensure the technical quality implementation of nutrition activities in the woreda and while maintaining close working relationship with the woreda, Kebele, community, and religious leaders, HWs, HEWs, and CHVs for the effective implementation and linkage of health and nutrition activities with the community and facility.
s/he is responsible for representing Save the Children International in woreda level partners coordination platforms. In addition, the position holder is also expected to provide a consistent and high-quality technical support in relation to nutrition activities implementation and will assist TSFP officers, Community mobilizers and other team in the woreda to build strong implementation packages.
