Defining, coordinating and monitoring all care and nursing related activities in the project and ensuring the daily management of human resources, according to MSF nursing protocols, standards and procedures, in order to warrant efficiency, quality and continuity of prescribed care.
Carry out the functions and tasks associated to nursing whenever required or needed, in order to optimize the resources, contributing with his/her knowledge and experience.
MSF Section/Context-Specific Accountabilities
Education : Essential: BSC in Nursing.
Essential: Valid professional nursing license.
Experience : Essential: At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Essential: At least 2 years Nurse Supervisor experience in a hospital setting
Essential: At least 1-year minimum experience in a ER department, at minimum in a General Hospital or at a higher-level/tertiary hospital.
Essential: Pharmacy management Experience. Experience in capacity building; mentorship, on job training.
Desirable: Working experience in MSF or other NGO’s or other Public Health facilities.
Other Requirements:
Essential: Proficient in using Microsoft Applications and Internet (word, excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet).
Essential: Mission language essential English in addition to other local languages.
Desirable: Additional training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency and trauma nursing and mass-casualty management.
Desirable: Trained in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing (ECCN).
