The National EPI Technical Assistant Coordinator is responsible for efficiently planning and organizing her/his monthly activities, ensuring timely execution, and promoting a positive work environment. She/he is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the EPI project to align with national immunization goals. The role involves providing technical guidance, strengthening immunization systems, and ensuring adherence to national guidelines. The coordinator facilitates collaboration among government entities, NGOs, and international partners while overseeing data collection, reporting, and project evaluation. The coordinator also represents PAPDA in national immunization forums, advocating for policy improvements and knowledge sharing.
· Develop yearly, quarterly and monthly activity plans and upload them on time.
· Prepare monthly activity report in the last week of every month before salary is effected.
· Plan for effective leadership, coordination, and alignment of the EPI project with national immunization goals.
· Plan for providing technical guidance, capacity-building support, and ensure adherence to national immunization guidelines to strengthen immunization systems and deliver high-quality project outcomes within the approved budget and timeline.
· Develop and oversee a monitoring and evaluation framework to track project progress, ensure data-driven decision-making, and facilitate timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
· Develop comprehensive work plans, facilitate effective partnerships, and produce high-quality reports, advocacy materials, and knowledge-sharing documents to enhance the impact and visibility of the EPI project.
· Lead the overall planning, implementation, and monitoring of the EPI project to align with national immunization goals and objectives.
· Liaise with the Ministry of Health EPI programs to ensure the project integrates with national health strategies
· Act as the primary focal point for project activities at the national level, ensuring coherence with broader immunization strategies.
· Facilitate effective collaboration among government stakeholders, international organizations, NGOs, and other immunization partners at the national level.
· Represent PAPDA in national-level meetings, forums, and technical working groups on immunization.
· Ensure adherence to the national guidelines for immunization programs and ensure quality standards are met in all stages of project implementation inline with national immunization guidelines
· Ensure project activities are implemented within the approved budget and timeline.
· Identify and mitigate risks that may affect project outcomes.
· Oversee the project’s development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
· Analyze data from immunization activities to measure progress, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
· Support field staff in submitting regular project updates, progress reports, and briefs to stakeholders and ensure the quality of regular reports, timelines, and completeness.
· Disseminate key project achievements and lessons learned through presentations and media channels.
· Develop annual and quarterly work plans and submit quality progress reports (monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual) aligned with national immunization goals.
· Provide technical guidance, training materials, and capacity-building sessions to strengthen immunization systems and ensure adherence to national guidelines.
· Oversee M&E activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to track progress, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
· Facilitate effective partnerships with government, NGOs, and international partners, representing PAPDA in national-level forums and technical groups.
· Develop advocacy materials, document success stories, and share lessons learned through publications, presentations, and media channels.
· Provide technical guidance to project teams on immunization strategies and interventions.
· Support capacity-building activities to strengthen immunization systems.
· Actively engage in self-capacity-building initiatives.
· Pursue pre-requisite certifications mandated by the organization to support ongoing professional development and organizational transformation.
· Represent PAPDA in various thematic coordination clusters including health and National EPI.
· Develop a minimum of one need-based concept Note/proposal every two months.
· Any other business assigned by the program coordinator.
● MA and MSC degree in, Developmental Studies, Public Health, Natural Science and related field of study.
● Experience: Proven experience in multiple programs and project coordination within the NGO sector for more than 6 years.
● Requirements: Excellent coordination and communication skills, liaising between external stakeholders, and strong internal teamwork.
