Multimedia Specialist (Videography, Design & Branding)

1. Background

Horn Center For Democracy (HCD) is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to lead our visual communication efforts. We require a versatile individual capable of handling end-to-end media production, from capturing footage to final design and editing.

2. Objective

The primary objective of this assignment is to produce high-quality visual content that enhances the organization’s branding, documents its activities, and engages its audience through professional photography, videography, and graphic design and social Media Management.

3. Scope of Work

Based on the specific requirements identified, the incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas:

A. Graphic Design & Branding

• Design visual materials for digital and print media (brochures, flyers, banners, social media posts, Website Posts).
• Develop and maintain the organization’s visual identity and branding guidelines.
• Ensure all visual outputs are consistent with the organization’s style and tone.

B. Videography & Photo Capture

• Capture high-resolution photographs of events, projects, and personnel.
• Plan and execute video shoots, including setting up lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
• Direct subjects during shoots to ensure professional results.

C. Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit raw video footage into polished final products (interviews, documentaries, promotional reels, short clips).
• Perform color correction, sound mixing, and add motion graphics or subtitles where necessary.
• Manage file storage and organization of all raw and edited media assets.
  

  4. Key Deliverables

• A set of branding templates and design assets.
• Edited high-quality videos ready for publication (formats suitable for TV/Social Media/Web).
• A curated database of high-resolution photographs from assigned events.
• Monthly content calendar and production report.

Qualifications , Experience& Requirements

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree : BSC/, computer science /information system/ Related fields

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in related area

Portfolio:

• A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in Graphic Design, Videography, and Video Editing.

Software Skills:

•  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Canva, Capcut or similar professional software.

Technical Skills:

• Experience operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, audio equipment, and lighting setups.

Creativity:

• Strong artistic eye for composition, color, and storytelling.
