CAAP Background
Community in Action Against Poverty (CAAP) is a local organization officially registered by the FDRE Agency for Civil Society Organizations on December 24, 2018, under registration number 4091. CAAP works in the Somali region and focuses on responding to emergencies, development, and promoting peace. CAAP’s vision is to create a poverty-free Somali regional state in which women are empowered to build a resilient, inclusive, and fair future for themselves, their families, and their communities. Currently, CAAP covers 38 woredas, with a staff of over 100 working across the region
CAAP is looking for competent, committed, and professional staff to fill the MEAL Manager position.
Job Purpose Summary:
The MEAL Manager is responsible for the WFP GFD Project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, reporting, knowledge Management, and Learning. The MEAL Manager will ensure the use of technically appropriate needs assessment, monitoring, and evaluation methods, contributing to the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of the GFD Project. He will provide accountability to the affected population.
