PIN would like to invite energetic, disciplined, responsible Female Intern applicants for specific project entitled ‘’Change” (Improving access to Education in Ethiopia most Marginalized Girls)

Length of Internship: For 6 Months

Job Description:

Under the general guidance and supervision of the MEAL Officer, the MEAL Intern, has the responsibility to contribute towards the establishment and sustainability of MEAL system for CHANGE Project.

Regular Monitoring, Implementation, progress tracking and reporting

  •   Maintain files and folders related to the activities of the MEAL Unit.
  •  Provide documentation of MEAL and key findings generated from MEAL activities.
  • Support the project team in MEAL practice and process.
  • Support the team through various administrative duties.
  • Assist with data management and cleaning, and quality control.
  • Ensure that projects target beneficiaries verified and most in need are targeted for the assistance and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
  • Engage in developing data collection methodology and tools and ensure the actual data collection is conducted with quality.
  •  Assist with the design and development of forms and questionnaires for data collection (assessment, baseline, midterm, and end-line) and analysis.
  • Ensure that monitoring data are reported promptly to relevant programs and managerial staff.
  • Ensure Community Feedback and Response Mechanisms are put in place and follow the functionality and respond to queries promptly
  • Any other related tasks as agreed and discussed with the all program Manager and MEAL Department/unit.

 Accountability, learning, dissemination and use of findings

  • Assist MEAL officer in Managing, relevant Community Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM) tools, and tracks projects’ responses to complaints using standard PIN templates together with MEAL Officer.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in social sciences, Inclusive education, Development, Statics, or any relevant field and 0 (Zero) years’ experience
  • Highly Motivated, able and willing to learn new tasks/skills quickly
  • Ability to work in fast and demanding environment
  • only zero years of work experience required.
  • Graduate of 2012 and 2013 E.C
  • Organizational skill and ability to prioritize and multi-tasking
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good command of MS Package (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of spoken & written Amharic, English
