Job Summary:

CRS is implementing an Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, called “Insight” within the agency. The web-based, real-time system will help to give more visibility and controls of daily operations. The Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) Unit is working closely with the Project Insight team, which leads the overall project and IT management of the roll-out, to implement Insight where it is needed and to support and train CRS supply chain staff who will use the software.

We are looking for a SCM Insight Support Officer to help us manage the Supply Chain aspects of our ERP system implementation in country program (CP). The SCM Insight Support Officer will be following daily Insight related activities of all inventory Organizations (IOs) and respond to requests related to Insight implementation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support field staffs on maintaining and using Insight for supply chain management activities through online and onsite support modality.
  • Training relevant supply chain, operations, and programming staff on the supply chain modules in Insight with Insight advisor
  • Identify and capacitate superuser (s) from each IOs to make those superuser (s) resource person for respective IOs.
  • Support and assist supply chain, operations, and programming staffs in data quality aspects of Insight.
  • Analyze different reports of Insight and give feed backs to supply chain staffs on identified gaps.
  • Facilitate and help supply chain, operations, and programming staff in solving problems related to Insight.
  • In collaboration with Insight Technical Advisor, help solve frequently asked questions in time.
  • Create and maintain proper conditions for learning and better usage of Insight and its outputs for different decision making.
  • Identify performance gaps and training opportunities for supply chain, operations, and programming staff in collaboration with Insight Technical advisor.
  • Compile and review CCP data for offline IO before it was captured into Insight.
  • Perform all other Insight related jobs assigned as required.

Job Requirements

Typical Background, Experience & Requirements:

 Education and Experience

  • MA/BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration. Prior experience in system implementation a plus.
  • 3 years for MA and 5 years for BA degree with practical experience
  •  Demonstrated experience implementing, using and/or supporting Finance and/or Supply chain applications required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools with good knowledge in excel analytic functionalities.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint or other means of enterprise-level electronic information sharing systems

Personal Skills

  • This position requires an independent, self- motivated and analytical individual who can work with staffs having varying level of skill and knowledge.

 Skills & experience:

  • High integrity and willingness to conduct her/himself transparently and open to scrutiny.
  • Familiarity with the work of NGOs is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation skills and training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong empathy skills and genuine care and respect for the needs of others especially female and another marginalized group.
  • The ability to work in a systematic and organized manner.
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • The ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles and values.

Travel Required – frequent travel to PDPs are required and estimated up to 50%

Internal: Supply Chain Manager, HoOPs PDP managers, Procurement manager and Inventory manager.
