Description
The logistic facilitation officer position pertains to all field and office activities including executing all financial, procurement, administration and custom related business. It provides facilitation support to the administration, finance and procurement and program teams.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Finance and procurement head has the following duties and responsibilities
- Facilitates field and office activities for finance and procurement team
- Facilitates field and office activities for the administration team
- Facilitates field and office activities for the program team
- Perform procurements, insurance and custom clearance according to ACSIS, international and standards of implementation and country of mandate
- Execute office and field work assigned to them professionally and effectively
- Facilitate all office functions and deliveries
- Ensure office amenities are utilized efficiently and effectively
- Facilitates local and international transportation, execution of paper formalities
- Coordinates itinerary and facilitates visit of funding partner representatives
- Ensure office amenities are well maintained and functioning well
- Manages ACSIS store
- Ensures all trainings, seminars and workshops are facilitated optimally
- Undertake other activities given to her/him by ACSIS chief of staff
Accountability: Logistic Facilitation officer is accountable to the chief of staff
Employment type: Full-time Contract renewable annually

Location of work: Main office in Addis Ababa with frequent field work to regions
Job Requirements
Qualification
- Minimum of first degree in logistic management/purchasing/accounting or related field and 2 years related experience
Skill competencies
- Well versed with logistic management principles
- Aware of the fiscal, procurement and property management laws and regulation of Ethiopia
- Excellent communication competency with excellent English writing and speaking fluency
- Commendable teamwork, professionalism and resilience credentials
- Excellent IT skills
