Project officer is responsible for implementing project activities to restore Landscapes and build resilience of the most vulnerable communities in the Lemo Districts in Ethiopia. The job holder is responsible for the Integrated livelihood, Environment & Nutrition program implementation in alignment with project model standards and local context. She/he is required to mobilize the community, facilitate target selection, and registration.
She/he records and keeps all the necessary documents of the operations executed. Moreover, the GREEN UP project officer will actively engage communities in participatory planning, providing essential technical skills and knowledge, driving the on-the-ground implementation of the project activities, fostering the development of green enterprises, and diligently monitoring progress while collaborating with local stakeholders to ensure the project’s objectives are achieved at the community level.
