Job Description

The Role

As knowledge management & partnership advisor, you will be responsible for training, capacity building, strengthening, and supporting good practice in the programme management systems compliance across countries where Oxfam GB is responsible for providing business support. These include DRC, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan, SAF Cluster, Ghana, Mali.

You will also provide coordination and strategic support on the use of programme and compliance information for management decisions for the country and regional leadership teams. Working closely with and following the strategic intent of the regional and HQ teams. The role will support the advancement of Oxfam GB systems to see that they are appropriate and user-friendly for country use.

Please note this is a one-year fixed-term opportunity.

An ideal candidate for the role will also have:

  • Experience in facilitating learning between staff using advisory, training, and coaching approaches.
  • Substantial understanding and experience on Programme et Project Management, partnership approaches with an understanding of what information is most necessary to maintain in quality oversight of the Programme – Project Management and partnership relationship and performance.
  • Experience in knowledge management practices and business process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence colleagues and senior managers.
  • Organisational skills to ensure accuracy, consistency and attention to detail when working under pressure.
