Washington HealthCare Plc (WHC) is a specialized secondary care facility in Addis Ababa, providing quality and affordable healthcare to local and international communities. Managed by experienced Ethiopian, American, and visiting doctors, WMC opened in January 2015 and has since served over 120,000 patients. Initially an internal medicine specialty center, it offers 24-hour care with US and Ethiopian-trained doctors in sub-specialties like cardiology, neurology, and oncology. The center plans to expand into a multi-specialty service and ultimately a tertiary care hospital and medical school. 

Essential duties:

• Assess patients pre-operatively, including medical history and diagnostic evaluations.
• Administer anesthesia under supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures as needed.
• Assist in managing anesthesia-related complications and emergencies.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including anesthesia charts.
• Participate in post-operative care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthetic techniques and equipment.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

Working Conditions:

• Work in operating rooms, intensive care units, and outpatient procedure centers.
• On-call duties may be required for emergency cases.
• Exposure to stressful situations and patient care responsibilities
