The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state of the art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks.

01. Director, Sales and Vendor Relationship Management

Deadline: March 20, 2026    |     Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

PSS TRADING PLC is established by five Banks and Premier Switch Solutions (PSS), which is a leading provider of payment technology solutions in Ethiopia. At the moment, the company has focused on offering a range of products and services, including blank cards, ATM Terminals, POS terminals, Software solutions, IT infrastructure supply, electronic office equipment, computer, Security and network devices as well as Technology consulting and training. Currently, the PSS trading PLC has vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for this job.

  • Formulates and implements corporate and functional strategies, policies, and procedures for technology and trading business.
  • Establish a process to regularly visit customer to understand comprehensive market demand analysis encompassing market segmentation, competitor analysis, trend forecasting, customer needs assessment, regulatory compliance, SWOT analysis, market positioning, distribution channel evaluation, pricing strategies, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize terms and conditions for the company and monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Responsible for overall management of the directorate including setting budgets, minimizing risks, maximizing opportunities and achieving the directorate’s targets
  • Ensure best practices are followed, costs are controlled, and the Directorate maximizes revenue generation
  • Drives growth, sustain trading operations, and ensures optimal performance of work units.
  • Establishes business partnerships, oversee sales and marketing strategies, and participate in product development.
  • Directs procurement, import, and support services for products, ensuring effective after-sales service and SLA compliance.
  • Provide Support in solution implementation and service project delivery to ensure timely execution, maintain quality standards, and achieve optimal customer satisfaction.
  • lead the full tender lifecycle, including tender review, preparation and submission of proposals, completion of technical compliance documentation, coordination of internal inputs, follow-up with the client throughout the evaluation process, participation in negotiations, and support in contract drafting and finalization
  • Prepare and structure pricing proposals for solutions and service offerings.
  • Directs the daily operations of presales and sales activities within the company
  • Ensure development and training of staff members in the technology and trading business
  • Prepare regular and periodic reports that provide a strategic direction and the achievement of the planned goals for the technology and trading services business
  • Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and manage staff performance to ensure they are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the organization’s goals.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
