Number Of Employee Required: Seven
Major Responsibility
- Collect, compile and submit early warning data (food security status, market monitoring and malnutrition) at Woreda level in a given time frame and Documentation of all early warning system activities and sharing of lesson gained
- Create awareness at Sectors and community levels on pending treats and forecasting of early warning to ensure appropriate response
- Capacity building of government staff, JEOP personnel and community members to put in place effective early warning system on early warning analysis, humanitarian assistance and targeting process.
- Participate in multi-agency/multi sectoral seasonal assessment and presenting the assessment findings
- Support the implementation of compliance activities to ensure program accountability is ensured, requirements are met and result are delivered as per humanitarian principles, standards and procedures.
- Support the Food Assistance teams in mobilization, facilitation of transportation and distribution of commodities and Validating vulnerability-based targeting and ensuring absence of inclusive and exclusive error in the process
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:
- B.Sc. in Agricultural Development (Plant Science, Agronomy, Animal Science, Natural Resource, Agricultural extension, Agricultural Economics), Rural development, DRR and any other related fields. But M.Sc. is preferable.
Required Professional Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of five years for B.Sc. and three years for M. Sc,
- Basic English spoken and writing in addition to local language of duty station.
