ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW

The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its’ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for IT Technician (Warehouse Level) position who meet the following requirements.

Required number: Eight (8)

Reports to: Head, Election Logistics

Duty station: NEBE Headquarter, Addis Ababa

Duration: Five Months Contract with the possibility of Extension

Salary: As per the organization’s salary scale (Competitive)

Key Activities

  • Provide technical support for the logistics system, printers, and internet connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Ensure continuous system availability for printing and encoding.
  • Coordinate with central IT support when needed.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Masters or BA/BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, ICT Support Services or related fields.
  • 0 years for Masters or 3 years for BA/BSc
  • years of experience in technical support or IT operations.
