Job Description
Agri service Ethiopia (ASE) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 1969 and dedicated to poverty reduction and sustainable community development particularly in rural areas of the country.
ASE has secured financial support from Christian Aid for the project entitled Blue-Green Enterprises for Sustaining and Transforming Lives (BEST Lives) in South-Omo Zone, Dassenech Woreda, and SNNPR. It now seeks to employ qualified persons for the following posts
Job summary:-
The position holder in close coordination with ASE staff plan, implement and monitor solar powered irrigation activities, Produce study and design documents including specifications, bill of quantities and construction, Participate in procurement activities, Carry out supervision of construction activities related to solar powered irrigation, Establish and train water user committees
Job Requirements
Education
· BSC degree in Irrigation, Water Resources, or Hydraulics Engineering or related fields of study
Experience
· 4 years of relevant experience.
Personal competency
· NGOs experience in a related position
· Computer Skill
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English Language
· Committed to work under pressure
