Invitation for documentary video production and story Booklet work
Background:
- Professional Alliance for Development/PADet is an indigenous, non-partisan, non-governmental organization established in 1998 with the main objectives of improving the situation of poor and vulnerable children, youth, and women through implementing programs of Food Security and Livelihood, Peace Building, RH/HIV/AIDS, Social Accountability, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment and Child Protection/Development. The organization has several programs in Oromia, Amhara and Afar regions and in Addis Ababa city administration.
- PADet has planned to organize the 25th anniversary for its establishment with stakeholders and partners sometime in October or November 2023. The purpose of the event is to promote its PADets’ and community development works among its constituents and other potential actors to further strengthen the initiatives so as to reaching out more disadvantaged /vulnerable groups such as children, youth and women in need and make sustain its mission.
OBJECTIVES OF THE SERVICE / WORK
- PADet Planned to conduct documentary video, Photo shots and Story booklet for the anniversary celebration. The video documentary and technical brief will focus on the PADets’ 25 years achievements, progress and operations looking through the whole chain of beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders through success stories testimonials, review existing documents and interviewing. The other events in the Anniversary celebration are presenting photo gallery, therefore in connection to documentary video preparation quality photos are required with the signed consent.
- The story booklet will contain best stories per year on from major program intervention areas and project implementation. It may contain so stories with and edit and follow the best story writing techniques and quality photo.

Requirements
The service provider will be required to have the following:
- More than 5years experience working in similar field (15%).
- Extensive experience in producing development work related documents and/or documentaries for organizations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences (25%)
- Experience in working with CSOs’ agencies and other international organizations (10%).
- Local knowledge of the project coordination office location and languages in regions (15%).
- Excellent photograph and video editing skills and experience (15%).
- Excellent experience on editorial and producing quality booklets (10%)
- Experience in development communication (10%).
