HELVETAS is looking for a registered Audit Company to conduct the annual audit the books and accounts for its projects and programmes for the calendar year 2026.

Job Description

HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation is a registered Foreign Organization in Ethiopia (re-registered with Certificate No. 0040) with Agency for Civil Organizations, operating thematically in Rural Infrastructure, Natural Resource Management, Support to CSO and Local Governments, Skill Development & Employment, and Emergency Responses working areas. Geographically we work in Amhara, Oromia, Tigray, Sidama, Somali, Central Ethiopia, South Ethiopia, Gambella, Afar, Harara, and Dire Dawa regional states.

Eligibility

Audit companies which fulfil the following requirements are eligible to bid:

Professional competence assurance certificates;
Registration certificate from AABE;
Renewed trade license;
Document evidencing settlement of government taxes;
VAT and TIN certificates;
Renewed auditor general license for the current fiscal year.

How to Apply

Interested & qualified applicants fulfilling the above requirements can collect a “Terms of Reference for Audit of 2026 Accounts” in person who shall come along with an official letter requesting for TOR with a scan of a renewed trade license by paying non-returnable Birr 1,000.
